The Building Inspections division has migrated to a new permit application and format based on master permit numbers. Additionally, we hope to streamline the fees process by utilizing new scope of work worksheets. We are refining this process as we prepare to make an online customer facing portal available soon, and move to online applications.
The new process involves completing one of the following, as a base permit application. The application is accompanied by one or several Scope of Work worksheets. If you are one entity, applying for permit for multiple trades, you simply check all of the applicable trades, and complete all worksheets. In other words, you can have one application for multiple trades, one scope worksheet for multiple trades, but each trade will get it's own permit number in the master number system.
***Please complete the scope of work as accurately and completely as possible. Inconsistencies between the scope of work and plans/inspections will cause delays.
We have a new application portal!
New contractors must call prior to signing up on the portal to be added as a contact. Please have state contractors license number on hand!
